today is the day

Faith-based eating disorder recovery coaching, walking with women toward freedom and hope in Christ.

This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.Psalm 118:24

The heart of it

My heart is to walk alongside women as they pursue freedom from eating disorders and discover the hope that is found in Christ.

I know recovery can feel overwhelming, lonely, and even impossible at times. But I also know that God is faithful. My desire is to create a space where you feel seen, supported, and encouraged as you grow in freedom and learn to rest in your identity as His beloved daughter.

My story

My eating disorder didn’t begin because I wanted to be skinny. It began because I desperately wanted control. Restricting food gave me a sense of certainty in a life that often felt anything but certain.

What started as a way to cope slowly became something that controlled me instead. My thoughts revolved around calories, exercise, and the number on the scale. On the outside, I looked disciplined. On the inside, I was exhausted, anxious, and trapped.

Looking back, I can see that my struggle was never really about food. It was rooted in fear and a desperate desire for control.

The Lord met me there with incredible patience and grace. He didn’t simply change my eating habits. He transformed my heart! Little by little, He taught me to loosen my grip on control and trust Him with what felt uncertain.

Recovery wasn’t instant, and it certainly wasn’t easy. But through God’s faithfulness, I found a freedom I never thought was possible!

Today, it’s my privilege to walk alongside women who are fighting similar battles. I know how easy it is to believe you’ll never be free. But I’ve experienced God’s faithfulness firsthand, and I believe He is able to do the same in your life!

Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning.
Psalm 30:5

My approach

What guides our time together

Every recovery journey is unique, but these four principles shape the way I approach every conversation.

i

Truth

Eating disorders thrive on lies. Together, we'll turn to God's Word, allowing His truth to reshape the way you see yourself, your body, and your identity.

ii

Grace

Recovery isn't about perfection. There will be victories, setbacks, and everything in between. My goal is to create a space where you can be honest without fear of shame or condemnation.

iii

Hope

No matter how long you've struggled, I believe God is still writing your story. Together, we'll celebrate growth, navigate challenges, and keep our eyes fixed on the hope we have in Christ.

iv

Teamwork

You were never meant to carry this alone. I'll be there to listen, encourage you, ask thoughtful questions, and continually point you back to the Lord as you pursue recovery.
